Download Eudora

Eudora is a powerful email client which runs on both Macintosh and Windows. It allows you to manage several email accounts, and to sort email into different folders for different tasks. It has lots of powerful features, which can help you be much more productive with email.

Licensing

Eudora is licensed in three different ways; all three are included in the download. You should choose the version which works best for you, as each has advantages and disadvantages. The three modes are as follows:

Sponsored Mode

Sponsored Mode unlocks the full power of Eudora, letting you access all the advanced features to create and manage rules, multiple mailboxes, multiple address books, and many other things.

You pay nothing for Sponsored Mode, and in return you have a little advertisement or two on the screen. The ads are intended to be visible yet unobtrusive and to let you get on with the business of managing your email effectively.

You can use Sponsored Mode for as long as you like, but after a while it will ask for a bit more demographic information. This information allows Qualcomm to charge advertisers, and to continue to deliver Eudora to you for nothing. Qualcomm does not release individual information about this demograpic data to the advertisers. See their privacy policy for more details.

Paid Mode

Paid Mode is the full version of Eudora, but without the advertising. You get this by registering your copy of Eudora with Qualcomm, which costs about $40, and includes a year's worth of free upgrades.

If you're interested in buying Eudora, you might want to review this tutorial. Skip to step 2 in the tutorial if you've already downloaded and installed Eudora -- there's no need to repeat that step again.

Light Mode

Eudora in Light Mode is an easy-to-use email client which will let you do all the things you need to do on a day-to-day basis. It costs nothing to use Light Mode, but many of the more interesting features offered in Sponsored or Paid Mode are disabled. You may use Eudora in Light Mode for as long as you like; it costs nothing.
